Latest news on George Cohen, an English professional footballer who played as a right-back for Fulham and the England national team. He spent his entire professional career with Fulham, making over 450 appearances for the club. Cohen won the 1966 World Cup with England and was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame. After retiring as a player, he coached the Fulham youth team and the England under-23 team, and also managed non-league team Tonbridge. He was awarded the MBE in 2000 and had a statue erected in his honour at Fulham's stadium, Craven Cottage, in 2016. Cohen died on 23 December 2022 at the age of 83.
