About our Gregg Berhalter news

Latest news on Gregg Berhalter, the head coach of the United States men's national soccer team. In January 2023, it was revealed that he had admitted to kicking his future wife in the legs during an argument in 1991. Reyna later confirmed that he was the aforementioned player and apologised for his behaviour while criticising the decision to publicise the information. Berhalter's contract would expire on December 2022, and an interim head coach named while the search for a permanent replacement began. In March 2023, the U.S. Soccer Federation had announced that the investigation into into the dispute with Berhalter's wife had concluded that there was no legal impediment for employing Berhalter.
