About our Tatjana Patitz news

Latest news on Tatjana Patitz, a German-born model who was one of the original 90s supermodels, best known for her appearance on the cover of British Vogue in January 1990 alongside Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington. She was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1966. She began her modeling career in the mid-1980s, and quickly became one of the top models of the era. She appeared on the covers of many leading fashion magazines, including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and walked the runway for many of the world's leading designers. She was known for her low profile and making her home in California, away from the fashion party circuit. She was still modelling in 2019, when she walked the catwalk for Etro at Milan fashion week, and was photographed for Vogue with her son Jonah Johnson. Patitz passed away at the age of 56 in 2013.
