Latest news on Alexander Stubb, a Finnish politician who is the president-elect of Finland after winning the 2024 presidential election.

Stubb has previously served as the Prime Minister of Finland between 2014 and 2015, as well as a MEP for Finland between 2004 and 2008.

Stubb, of the National Coalition party, declared victory on 11 February 2024 after winning an election run-off against Green Party member Pekka Haavisto. He will assume office on 1 March 2024, succeeding two-term president Sauli Niinistö.
